Elise Holland is the artist behind Leesy Bird Art. She has a widely varied body of work, but focuses primarily on loose, natural landscapes and romantic figure studies. So much of what she does with her work is an effort to communicate feeling, a specific mood with each painting.
In her studio based in Houston, Texas, Elise uses a combination of watercolor, mineral and acrylic paints, as well as light pencil and often 23 karat gold leaf to achieve her signature style. When not painting, Elise can be found tending to her twins (who often have a paint and brushes in their own hands), or exploring Houston's vibrant restaurant scene with her husband or friends.

Children's Art Classes
Elise offers private sessions, group workshops, and summer camps for young children. During these sessions, young children hear about the basics of color theory, get hands on practice with various watercolor or acrylic painting techniques, and come home with a unique craft to show their family. As a mom herself, Elise is careful to child proof the studio in advance (including removing figure study work from sight), and strives to make the experience a joyful one for each child.

- 1 Hour Private Sessions - $60/per child, $80 to enroll two children from the same household
